I have just had a fantastic simulated game day with Mike in a beautiful estate. Our start was a full English breakfast in a great village pub. Then off to the estate where we had our safety briefing before splitting into couples and being presented with plenty of great challenging clays. This really is as good as a game day at a fraction of the price. I even bought Mike’s light load cartridges for the day which really were great performers. A great crowd of other guns made for a very enjoyable day and I will definitely be back for more. Well done to all the team for your hard work to make this a very memorable experience. I must add that the pub was excellent throughout although the wonderful lunch probably didn’t help with my calorie counting!!

I would like to say what an all-round Tip Top day you and your team laid on for us, every detail was well thought out and executed in a professional but relaxed way. I don’t often get invited back but I am already looking forward to your day in August.

Michael J Reynolds looked after us so well and even as a non shooter they went over and above to make sure I had a good day. I can’t wait to go on another day… I’ll be taking my gun next time that’s for sure!

Thank you for organising such a fantastic weekend, the shoot was just as good as you said and the whole day was run to perfection. I hope I get the chance to shoot with you again in the future.

Thank’s to Michael Reynolds and his team for setting up a fantastic day of simulated pheasant shooting. The day started with a lovely breakfast at a pub then on to the shoot. Four pheasant drives with some testing clays followed by lunch at the pub, which was top drawer. Back to the shoot for some very testing birds over two drives. Well worth a visit!

My self and my partner spent the day on a simulated game day organised by Michael we had a great day . The day started with tea and a bacon rolls then on to first of 5 drives the targets were challenging something for everybody of all abilities. Nice lunch friendly staff, would thoroughly recommend anyone to try it.

I had yet another fantastic days shooting on Exmoor arranged by MJR Sporting Services. All the guns were really well looked after during the day and the accommodation recommended by MJR was excellent. The excitement built in the morning as the guns gathered for the pre shoot meeting and as the day progressed I found that each drive was very well thought through. At every drive the team of guns were presented with exceptional driven birds. A very memorable days shooting indeed and one I can highly recommend.

I took my nephew for a session with Mike Reynolds, Though Mike didn’t use the maintained lead system I had eventually adapted to, I watched with intrest as he gave my nephew several ‘dry’ shots at some crossing clays until he was confident the lad was following his instructions. He then put a cartridge in the gun and with his very first shot the 15 year old dusted the clay as he did the majority there after.

I pick up on shoots and I love to stand behind Michael, I have 3 dogs and after every drive he has them exhausted. A pleasure to watch a sportsman and gentlemen on top of his game.

I am new to shooting and have been to lots of grounds with very little success. On meeting Michael, he first checked my eye dominance (Left central) never heard of that before. I’m right-handed and couldn’t close my left eye and certainly couldn’t shoot left-handed, he used a patch on my glasses and I have never hit so many targets. I highly recommend him, as coaches on other grounds didn’t notice my eye problem.

Michael J Reynolds is a formidable shot and his reputation has taken him all over the country. He was mentored by the best game shooting instructor in the country and is now regarded to be among the elite in his field. He is particularly known in Exmoor as part of the high bird specialists and his infield instruction.
Michael will be heading up the game side of the business bringing good value game days to the A1 in the future but also through his lessons preparing you for your day whether you are a novice or a seasoned veteran.
Many guns never achieve their best on the day for many reasons nerves, peer pressure or lack of practise and if a novice it can be a very daunting experience. Michael’s cool, calm attitude will help you relax and he will bring out the best in each client. An hour spent with Michael is an hour well invested. He will help you achieve your optimum hit ratio and help maximise your enjoyment of the day.

I am an old veteran in shooting and thought I would have a lesson to polish up my technique before going on my game day. On the way out to the ground Michael asked me lots of questions about my shooting. We started on the teal which I was ok, we then moved onto the tower and the wheels slowly fell off the bus. Michael noticed my stance was wrong and said it was more like I was on the ski slopes and also my head was slightly off the stock. Once this was rectified there was instant success and that continued as we progressed around the ground. He spots things and tweaks you as you go around from cage to cage.

I have been shooting for a game number of years but had noticed that I was not improving; in fact I was going backward, especially when on Driven days.
Mike was recommended to me as the man to see if I really wanted to hit those testing high Pheasants in the West Country.
Well I have not been disappointed, Mike arranged a gun fit for me, changed my stance and mount and the result was amazing. I will be going back to Mike for the start of the coming season for a refresher.
